Why More Goat Less Guilt?

The simple reason for goat milk’s popularity seems to be the relative ease with which it’s produced… One goat, which can produce an average of a gallon and a half of milk a day, (more than enough for a single family), takes up less space and needs less feed than a dairy cow. This provides impoverished countries or homes without refrigeration, a cheaper and easier way to consume dairy. Goats also produce less methane than cows meaning they have less of an impact on the environment!

Goats’ milk ice cream is lower in lactose than cow’s milk ice cream but what does lactose intolerance actually mean?

Lactose is a type of sugar mainly found in milk and dairy products which can commonly lead to digestive problems where the body is unable to digest lactose. This can cause flatulence, diarrhoea, bloating and other symptoms. It is an issue that effects many people worldwide and is easily combated by altering one’s diet. Greedy Goat ice cream is 30% lower in lactose than cow’s milk ice cream, meaning it is a great choice for those with lactose intolerance.
